3 years ago today I was watching the Boston Marathon at the Finish Line on Boylston Street, as I do every year. At 2:45pm, I put my tail down to signal to mom that we needed to go home. We left, turning down the alley next to Exeter street. At 2:49pm, the first bomb exploded on Boylston Street. Mom and I made it safely home down the street, but we found out later that not everyone made it home that day, and our friends were some of the first spectator responders to provide first aid to the injured around them until emergency services arrived. We were shaken and scared for the rest of that terrifying week, and we are still dealing with residual effects of that day, but we have never been more proud to be part of such a strong city.

Today, on #OneBostonDay, we reflect on that day and remember that we are all #BostonStrong. 💙💛
